Purchased, installed, and already under the bar — a weight room upgrade made possible entirely by Bear Gridiron Club members.
Where We Stood
The Old Benches Had Given All They Had
The benches our athletes had been training on were at the end of the road. Seams were splitting, the padding was compressed and torn from years of daily use, and there was no replacement waiting in the equipment budget — and no other current options to turn to.
For a program that asks its players to show up and put in the work every single day, that is not a small problem. The bench is where a great deal of that work happens. Worn, unstable equipment is more than an eyesore — it is a safety and performance issue that holds the whole room back.
