The Bear Cave and Practice Field Are Ready
Four truckloads out, fresh Bear blue on the walls, and every space reset for football season.
The Bear Cave and practice field are ready. Bear Gridiron Club volunteers showed up and put in a full day of work — unloading four truckloads of old equipment and trash, repainting the walls and containers Bear blue, and reorganizing everything to get the spaces ready for the feeder and high school seasons.
This is what the club is all about: members giving their time and sweat so that when the Bears walk into the Bear Cave or step onto the practice field, everything is dialed in and ready for football.
Four Truckloads Gone
Old equipment, broken benches, pallets, and years of accumulated clutter — loaded up and hauled off, four full truckloads in all, with an assist from the crew at Junkyard Dog Junk Removal.
Bear Blue Everywhere
Volunteers repainted the Bear Cave walls and the storage containers in Bear blue. What was faded and worn now looks like it belongs to a program that takes pride in its home.
Everything in Its Place
Every space got reorganized — equipment sorted, storage squared away, and the Bear Cave and practice field set up so coaches and players can find what they need and get to work.
Ready for Two Seasons
The feeder programs and the high school Bears will both use these spaces all season long. Thanks to our volunteers, every level of Cambridge football walks into a facility that’s ready.
